This one came from my friend Steff. She loves her tags....hehehe I liked this one, its one I haven't seen around before, and that is saying something....lol

It's centered around your middle name. And mine is Leah. My dad and my mom both have the name Lee or Lea as their middle name, (pronounced Lee). So they decided to combine their names and make it Leah (pronounced with a short A sound at the end) for mine. I guess that's how it went. Either way, it's Leah and I have always been fond of it.

L is for long legged. I am 5"10 1/2" tall, if we are going to be nick picky. I love being tall, but as a teen, and interested in boys, it was a challenge to appreciate it, then. I used to be a long, lean, stick. Straight as an arrow....lol. ohhhhhhhhhhhh.....I miss those days now, but six pregnancies later has a way of morphing you.

E is for energetic. I love to stay busy. I like to clean, scrub, and get things done. Once I get rolling I have a hard time stopping. However, since I have been pregnant I am sure Den is wondering if those days are behind me....lol Or maybe I am the one who is worried!

A Drawing a blank here people. The vowels are sort of killing me, and I have to admit that the H isn't coming to me any clearer.....hahaha Ohhhh...how about...artistic. Yeah, that's a good one. I wouldn't say the painter sort, but I love to decorate. That definitely falls in to that category. I love to decorate houses to make it look like the person who lives there. We, woman, spend so much time in our homes that I think its important to make it feel like, and represent you. It just brings me great joy!


H Hysterical. This one is a given. I love to laugh! I think things are very funny, and can have a bit of a twisted sense of humor. I only let it come out at night, or around close enough friends that speak the same language. Otherwise people just think I'm odd, and I try to keep that at a minimum when I can control it. I have my children to think of.....

I Got Tagged

I see that I was tagged NUMEROUS times.....hahaha I have enjoyed reading all of the lists. I am trying to think of information that you don't already know about me. So here it goes.

My facts/habits:

1. I am one of two daughters. My sister and I are only 13 months apart (I'm the baby), and we were, and still are, accused of being twins ALL the time. Which cracks us up. Our husbands don't believe us when we tell them how often this happens to us when we are together.

2. I didn't think I wanted to homeschool until Teresa had laid all the ground work with our parents. She did all the begging, convincing, research, praying, fasting and once the deal was sealed I jumped on the bandwagon with a quick "Me too?", and my parents quickly said "Yes." I got to ride on Teresa's coat tails a lot in my life, and it's been pretty grand!!! hehehe

3. I have hollered, "Whose dead? Whose dead? Whose dead?" at a gravesite funeral when I learned that someone's battery died and they needed jumper cables. NOT my finest moment!! I don't know why that didn't register with me!!!

4. I have served raw pork roast to company when I was first married. It wasn't even close to being done, but Den took a bite anyway to prove to all that it wasn't that bad. Believe me....it was that bad!!! hehehe

5. I have pinched my brother in laws behind, secretly, thinking it was my hubbys. Just so ya know, my sister and I's husbands are brothers, and looked very much alike from the back side. Nothing awkward about that moment....no sirree bob! hehehe

6. I have left my baby asleep in a car when going for a romantic walk with my husband, because I forgot I had a baby................."doh!"

7. I made a dress from scratch one time (again first married and only 17.). Right after finishing it I wore it to the mall, and looked at myself in the mirror at the Bon Marche' Macy, only to realize that I had put my pockets on backwards and upside down. THIS STILL CRACKS ME UP! Den, however, told me it was an amazing dress, and I had done a fantastic job! Don't you love him?! hehehe

8. When River was a baby, and I was at the DMV, I had set him up on the counter while signing some documents. You know those people are NEVER friendly, and once he was up on the counter he had an attack of diarhea that oozed from his diaper and shorts. The noise was repulsive and I thought I was going to die. This is when a huge glob landed on my shoe. The DMV officer said nothing, nor did I. We finished the transaction, and I carefully balanced the huge blob of poo on my shoe and walked away.....ROFL!

La Bellina Mammina has asked me to do this questionnaire. I know I know...you are waiting with bated breath. You never know, maybe there is something here you thought you knew, but now you know, you didn't know......lol.

1. What is your occupation?
I am a homemaker!

2. What color are your socks right now?
I don't have any on, but I don't let my boys do this, because their shoes will stink...lol

3. What are you listening to right now?
The sound of my boys laughing downstairs. Can't beat that!

4. What was the last thing that you ate?
I ate 2 pathetic french fries. Roman's leftovers....

5. Can you drive a stick shift?
Yes, and I rather enjoy it! I actually may have been a Nascar driver in another life....

6. If you were a crayon, what color would you be?
Red, and I would just pray that Roman wasn't holding me, because he would bite my head off. I'm sure of it!!

7. Last person you spoke to on the phone?
Mary....at least you didn't ask me how long we spoke...because that would be shameful!

8. Do you like the person who sent this to you?
Yes I do!! She seems like a very warm, sincere Mom, and I love reading her blog.

9. How old are you today?
I am 36. I'm still getting used to that number.

10. Favorite drink?
Pleeeeeeeeeease....Carmel mocha from Starbucks! Sorry I just drooled on the monitor...forgive me!

11. What is your favorite sport to watch?
Gymnastics, but if you think I get to watch something like that in this house, than this must be your first time here.....So "WELCOME!"

12. Have you ever dyed your hair?
Oh yes! I love to try new things!

Copper was our dog, but now Mary has her.....which reminds me, "Mary how are you treating Copper? Are you feeding her?" lol

14. Favorite food?
Salmon....slathered in butter, with a little squeeze of yellow lemon...a little dill sauce on the side...( oh sorry...I lost myself for a minute!)

15. What was the last movie you watched?
Shanghai Nights....now that was good clean fun right there....I giggled alot!!

A book I read, or one I enjoyed?...because there is a difference people...Remember I am a homeschool mom....

17. What do you do to vent anger?
I lecture! I know that doesn't sound pretty, but my boys will tell you that I do.....*sigh*

18. What was your favourite toy as a child?
I loved my bike and skateboard. I was an outdoorsy on the move girl. Hence, why God gave me boys!

Ohhhh I could wax poetic here! I love both. Let's just leave it at that, and I won't bore you with all my reasons why.

I love kisses! I love hubby kisses and baby kisses.....I just love kisses!

Okay, I know that there is no right answer here, but geesh this is tough...I like them both for different reasons...hehehe

I plan to live 'til I die...that's the simple version.

Uh oh....I cried this weekend. I was sad about some family matters. It felt good really...you men should do it more!

Do you want the truth? I don't think you can handle the truth! Okay...socks!

28. Who is the friend you have had the longest?
Chantel! I have had her the longest for a very good reason....she is amazing!!

29. What did you do last night?
I went shopping with Den for a bit. Have I mentioned how much I love spending time with him?

30. Favorite smells?
Ohhh baby shampoo on a peach fuzzy headed baby! YUM! I'm lucky enough to still have one for a while longer.

31. What inspires you?
People with hospitality.

32. What are you afraid of?
Not teaching my boys enough to make it in the real world.

33. Plain, cheese or spicy hamburgers?
Cheesy....but never any onions!

34. Favourite dog breed?
Golden Retriever or a lab. They are just more child friendly.

Am I supposed to know the answer to that?

36. Number of years at current job?
Almost 19 years in June....And I've never been on unemployment once. Maybe by the time I retire I will get a watch or something.

Friday.....oh the possibilities!

Three in my lifetime. Oregon, Washington, and Hawaii

39. Favourite holidays?
Christmas.......it's so magical!

Yes sirreee bob! I have driven a backhoe before. I know....close your mouth, a bee may fly in!
