Baby Baby Baby

Trying to figure out if I am turning into a Hunchback with this pregnancy. LOL Im hoping its just my shirt, but maybe this sixth pregnancy has finally done it!

I haven't bought anything for this baby yet. Not that that is unusual for me at this stage of my pregnancy. It's always hard for me to get too excited about purchases since I don't know the gender. I am not a green or yellow lover when it comes to baby clothes anyway. So I am waiting. I have quite a few baby boy stuff, although Roman was born at a different time of year in a much harsher climate, so there will be some new digs purchased for sure. Plus I think buying a few new things is one of the things that makes a new baby fun.

I am starting to feel quite pregnant. Having to be careful to not overeat at meals or I feel miserable. Not laying on my stomach at night, which is a huge sacrifice for me. Having people look at my stomach when they are firsting eyeing me. These are just a few of things that let me know I have crossed over....lol

My favorite part is when you lay on your back and you can see, and feel, the baby move. Little movements here, quick jerks there. It's amazing to really think about a 10.5 inch baby (head to heel) in there. Last night was the first time I shared the news with Roman. It had to be done since he thinks I am a human bean bag. He was trying to get his little round diaper clad bum comfortable on my lap when I was gasping and removing his elbow from my belly button time and time again. So I said, "Ow Roman...baby" while pointing to my stomach. He thought it was funny and turned around to look at my belly. I said it again, "Baby" again pointing. He then followed suit and pointed to my stomach saying, "Baby". We played this harmonious little game for about 15 seconds til he began getting more excited and started pushing on me and smacking me around. I was like "Okay okay....geesh...enough little man!" Soooo I think he sort of got it, or..... maybe NOT!

Oh Trina.. that is so funny about Roman. LoL Instead of getting more gentle, he got more excited.

I was thinking about the fact that in the past, we have purchased that girly outfit and nightie, just in case every time. To see you glow like, it was your first boy, every time. Your made me think of that. Love you so much and I can't wait.

Right before Bethany was born her and Seth had an outright war with me in between. He wanted on my lap and she wanted OUT and no more squishing thank you. He would push my stomache, and she would kick back, hard. It was somewhat uncomfortable. And in the middle of church of course! You look great, I hope you are not becoming a hunchback:)

Once again, I must say that Roman is too cute. Sounds like he didn't really understand the baby chat, but maybe that is how he plans to treat the new little one. Wrestling and getting physical with it, sounds like the norm for a houseful of boys. Good luck baby Martin!

Cingratulations! You sure have some handsome boys, but I can't believe you have a 17 year old son. You look too young to be his mom.:)

I too have five bio girls and one bio daughter and to even things out a bit we went on to adopt four more girls.

God Bless.

Roman sounds like my little men each time they found out I was pregnant. I'm praying for a healthy baby, Trina!

You are showing a little, too cute! The baby concept is a lot for him to take in. But he will get eventually. So sorry you can't lay on your stomach, but it won't be long.

You look adorable! And definitely not a hunchback, LOL. It's just your other arm/elbow that you are seeing there:)

Do you guys not find out the sex until the doctor says, "It's a..." and is putting it in your arms? Have y'all picked out names? I'd like to toss out Canyon. I love that name and it's great for a boy or a girl.

Okay, no more unsoliciated advice! :)

Teresa: It is hard NOT getting excited about a new baby, boy and all! However, I will be buying that ONE girl outfit just in case.

Gale: Seth and Bethany's war sounds very similiar. I am sure it will be getting more brutal as the pregnancy goes along...hehehe

Mary: Thanks! Roman is so much fun!

Chantel: Yes, baby #6 will be given a run for his money in this house...lol

Christine: Well I started very young. I was 18 when he was born (almost 19). However, the years are catching up with me...trust me!

Katie: I agree!

Jenny: Thanks for the prayers. That is so thoughtful!

Cherrie: I am starting to really show now! Finally out of that weird phase, ya know. I am always so thrilled when I can sleep on my back again!

anonymous: That could very well be what that hunch is...giggling!

Marisela: It was great seeing you today too. Its important to stay in touch! My back is giving me some problems tonight. Maybe I did too much.

Steff: Yep, we wait to find out the gender. Its hard, but fun too. Canyon is very cute. I think we are going to stay with biblical names for a boy. Not sure if its a girl...we shall see when we get closer to time though.

Baby clothes shopping is the best! With our first baby we decided not to find out the sex, but I just HAD to buy stuff, so I went generic... everything was "animal" based. Cow pajamas, duck bibs, kitty hats... once she was born, I had wished I'd waited. ~Karle

Your baby belly is cute! =) And I know what you mean about sacrificing the sleeping on your tummy. I'm a tummy sleeper too and I thought I"d never make it having to sleep on my back. I did somehow, obviously. =) Have you had complete strangers come out of the woods and start patting your tummy yet? That's what I hated the most! =)

Leah: I am having difficulty getting in to your blog. My password or something isnt working, and it wont open up your email for me. Please email me help! Thanks!

Ohhhh....no one has patted my stomach YET! hehehe But give it time...give it time! hahaha
