How do I know I live in the land of boys? Actually, the real question is how do I differentiate myself between them, because everything around me is either blue, camouflage, or something that has to do with the dominant male species in this house. However, to be honest, I think some of it is super duper cute, thankfully. I mean what would I do if I couldn't find anything adorable amongst the heaps of boy stuff? Here are a few things that I trip over, or go on a mad search for, on any given day.
This is seriously one of the smallest shoes. Roman has small feet, hence he may not be very tall. However, for now I love his itty bitty belongings. Well to be perfectly honest, I love his feet bare too. I can chew and nibble on them all day long, but I digress.........
Of course another blue shoe, that is miniature, and don't forget the sports theme in this house. Its either blue, sports, super hero, or camo. If it has something like that on it than we are good to go!
Abram's camo shoe. When I first bought this shoe I thought it was so cute and unique. Now that word, describing it, makes me laugh!
You see, I blew the unique part by buying him another camo shoe. This is a Croc and he LOVES LOVES LOVES these, right now!
Ohhh.... and we had to get a winter boot, with camo on it!
Here is one of Roman's jackets, again super small, all decked out in the green and brown stripes. I'm starting to figure out why I can't ever find their stuff now.....hehehe
Here are some little camo overalls that Rusty and Mary gave us. He hasn't had a chance to wear them yet, but they hang in his closet at the ready! To be honest, we may lose him in the backyard with these on!
Anyway, this is just a small portion of camo that I am showing (Which has shocked me! I walked around taking photos, and thought to myself, I must stop, there is just too much of it!!), but you see my point I'm sure. If you will recall they were, also, all decked out in camouflage shorts for their family photo, on Father's Day.
Now, a lot of these were purchased a few months ago, while still living up in the country. The more camo the better, back then. Thankfully, it's in style in urban life too, however we try to not let the entire crew of boys head out, on a daily basis, in ALL camo (although it could easily be done). I'm sure that the neighbors already have us labeled..........hahaha

So funny, here we are desperate for that sort of thing, as a matter of fact I just bought Amanda a PINK camo jacket. She loves it, kinda like Dad, yet still girly. I could post on ribbons, bows, lace, hair deelies etc. Strange that you who are so feminine ended up with all boys. I was always the tomboy and ended up with mostly girls. Maybe God needed us toned down or something? I know that I am much more girly than ever before. Of course, having Chantel around has helped too. Already mourning her going.
Labeled! I love that! I love all the camo! You'd be surprised at how much camo is in our house of girls. For one thing, Dad and Trent feel as if they need to make up for the lack of boys with extra boy things for themselves! Another thing is that most of us girls like the camping/hunting/fishing etc. and all the camo, fishin' poles, bows and arrows, and everything else that comes with it!
Good Luck finding the stuff your children, er, Mr. Nobody, is always losing.
Oops! That second comment was by me, Neena. I forgot I was under Mom's login name.
Gale: It is weird that we got so many girls or so many boys when we were the opposite growing up! God does have a way of balancing us out, doesn't he? LOL
You should post, with pics, all the girlie things in your house, that would be fun for me to see!
Neena: I knew it was you...I've done that with other blogs. Went to go help them out on a template, and than accidently left comments under their name...I could have some fun with that..*evil laugh!* Pink camo is pretty cute, I have to admit, and I have always loved the camping thing too. Your Dad is very blessed to have a house full of girls that love to do that sort of stuff!!
Love all the camo..you know my boys two are all about being little men!! I even bought Hailey a little pink camo shirt, but of course 1 guess as to what little picture was on that shirt??..hehe
So when the hunt for all the missing items starts to go down in your house I guess at least all your boys will be dressed appropriately..LOL
Loved your last post and it is crazy how all of a sudden a moment in time takes us back to a memeory where at the time we were just living life and now they are flashes of happiness or occasionally sorrow..Glad to see you are up in spirits again...
Love ya!!
Mary: I know your boys love it, too! I'm sure that their love for camo stirred up Abram's strong desire for it too!! I am feeling much better, thank you! It is amazing how one day or one moment in time can change your perspective on everything!
Love ya tooooo!
I am a major camo lover. Stormie also has a camo outfit that she wears every chance she gets.

Cherrie: Its so funny how that girls can get away with loving boy things, but by golly a boy shouldnt love girl stuff. Not that its been a real issue in this house, except for Dora. My younger boys LOVE Dora (Well Abram did,not so much anymore.) and Roman doesnt care if she is in pink or not, he loves his Dora!!
I searched and searched for camo capri's at the beginning of Spring...I should've just asked you the best place to find camo! LOL!
Lori: HAHAHA yes you should have!! Or better yet, you should just swing by, and find something to borrow here...Im sure we have something!!! hehehe
My three sons have not been camo boys longer than the hunting season, however, I did search from camo capris this season too.
Very in this year! lol
I love the shoes Trina, so sweet.
Am I soooo behind the times! I didn't know camo capris were IN! Maybe I will try to sqeeze in to Levi's camo pants (obscenely too tight) and try to pull them off as hip capris! What do ya think? hehehe
Hey! We have those same bibs! :D Would you believe I have gone out of my way to try to find things that are *not* navy blue, camo, or sports themed? It is almost impossible!
I love fining all the small shoes and camo clothing around my house too. After five girls it is so fun to by camo, & sports oriented clothing. Of course the girls do love the camo stuff they make for girls too.
Angel: Yeah it is almost impossible. The only other theme you could go with is like bugs or something. Which we have as well...lol
Marisela: I bet you are enjoying the boy stuff after five girls. I would go pink crazy if I had a girl....oh my the sheer joy of shopping for a girl...just gave me goosebumps! hehehe
That's too funny. I have one of each so there was a great deal of balance. Roman's shoes are cute though - I love little kids shoes - they have such unique ones now don't they? I mean when my son was little the stuff wasn't nearly as cute.
How funny Trina! I was beginning to feel that way around here but I now have a room and closet full of pink! But I love camo, blue and boys!! They are awesome. Yesterday afternoon my two were outside jumping and sliding in a black mud puddle in the backyard, they were covered! and I loved it.
I loved this post! Talk about going down memory lane... my 5 boys aren't little anymore.
Oh and that darling little girl of mine didn't stand a chance to be a girly girl. I tried... but I've seen her out and about as an adult sporting camo.
If we have another child ,... I would love to have a boy! This pink is driving me over the edge!!!teehee
Nadine: Yeah the boys clothes have improved just since I had River. They are really cute, not as cute as the girls stuff, but cute!
JavaMama: I should have mentioned mud slinging stuff too. I dont know what I was thinking...hehehe They are to be adored. God made them amazing!
Mrs.Mom: yeah you had a house full of boys too. Im sure you can totally relate. Your little woman was a tomboy, but she was/is so beautiful!!
Fifi: Your Tanzi with all her pink is too stinking cute! Another one, eh? lol
Too funny! Except for in the itty bitty baby department, there isn't a whole lot of cutsie stuff for boys out thre. I'm trying to enjoy every little stage as they come because I know before long those big camo things will be hanging around my house too. And goodness, I have a hard time finding the beauty in camo. Heheee!
Leah: hahaha I am sure you do! You pink frilly girl mama!! hahaha Im giggling at your house all decked out in camo and deer heads...oh my...lol!
That's funny, I can imagine you going around the house, thinking and taking photos!
I sshould take some photos of the boys clothes and shoes too - that will be a riot!
labellina: You should that would be a riot! I would love to see what everyone has in their closets for their family!
