Hurry Up and Wait

Okay, I'm gonna post it. I have been dragging my feet about posting this just in case things didn't really work out. I have tried to not get too excited about it all, because I thought if I tried to play it down in my mind than if it didn't pan out than no harm done, right? I don't know if it really works that way though.

Well as some of you know, Rusty and Mary are moving down. Lots of things still have to work out, but the Lord has definitely been putting His hand to it all. Sunday night Rusty and Mary arrived. Rusty had a job interview to go on the next morning, and Mary came down to support him. She also wanted to look at houses for rent to see which neighborhoods were best around here. It was going to be a big day for Rusty and Mary, indeed.

Rusty took off in the morning, so Mary and I jumped in River's jeep to begin our hunt as well. We kept in contact with Rusty all day long because that's how long they kept him for his interview. Excellent sign, if I do say so myself. The day was nerve racking, and full of prayer while we drove around all over tarnation. Finally at 2:30pm he was done, and back at the house. We couldn't wait to get all the details. Den, even, came home early to get all the tidbits before they had to take off for home to retrieve their children. The interview sounded very successful. Now we will ALL have to wait for the next phone call from that company. However, it sure looks like Rusty sailed through it all with flying colors. *No big surprise!* Of course, this is his first interview. It would be pretty neat, and amazing if he only had to go on one interview and was ready to start work down here.

So we are getting closer to having another great family here. This assmembly could use the help. We will be so fortunate to have them. They are so loving and stable that we will all benefit from their gifts (spiritual *wink*) in our assembly.

I sure hope that everything works out in lightning speed. I love to think of that assembly flourishing. Maybe bring alive a part of our life that seemed to have died. God is so good, healing even the most terrible wounds, I stand amazed at His almightly power.

I think that it is AWESOME that the church out there is growing again. I know that Ryan misses it up there. I could see us up there in the future. Not near future, but future. We are going to stay here for a long while. Anyways, I wanted to mention that that is EXACTLY how Ryan got this job. He only applied at this ONE place. he had been not working for 2 months at least. (We were seperated for one of those months). And I'm the kind of person who thinks you should apply at at least 10 places to get your chances better! Well...like I said, he applied at this company and I kept suggesting other places he should try and finally he said, "Just trust me and pray about it!" He also said that he felt like applying here. So I laid off of him. And low and behold, he was interviewed and is now working at this company. So yeah, God does amazing things!

Well I hope they call. If not maybe greater things are in store and the Lord has something else lined up for him. It will be great to have them down here and settled it, just one more family seems more comforting.
