A New Beginning

So, thankfully we got to restart this day, and I bridled my feelings from my earlier post, or this day could have ended on a very different note (good lesson to me). For today, Den baptised a man who has been visiting our little meager church here. What a blessing! Thank you Lord for holding true to your promises and leading us to this place. Also thank you for giving us all new beginnings, as you taught me today, they are so important!

Wow! He is showing His plan so quickly. I'm so thankful for His leading power, I've been strengthened by your story of the move so far. I'm sure that things will continue to unfold. Is the man anyone that I may know?

Gale: Nope just a man that has been coming to church here for a few weeks. I am so inspired by it all too though. I stand amazed at how God is working all these things out!

I can empathise with you - me with a household of 4 males - I need the strength and the patience that you seem to have and that is lacking in me most times.

Such a precious picture of your husband baptising someone. Pictures like this make my heart burst with gladness.

Trina, that is so awesome! I am thankful that God is beginning to use you both for his purpose in your new assembly. When we moved here, my honey had never done more than testify or pray in meeting (not meaning that those things are nothing as they feed the body too) but the first Sunday we were here he was used to preach! What a shock to watch him stand and walk to the front! WOW! Boy, things changed for us quickly! It is awesome though.

I was touched this morning when you told me how your Sunday went and to know another man decided to live the faith in the Lord. That lake has held alot of new souls in baptism. Thank you Lord. I am glad He has given your little church something wonderful to hold on to early.
