I Could Just Eat Him Up!!!!

I am completely enjoying my Roman! I must be getting old, because the smallest of things that this little one does brings me the greatest joy. I love stripping him down, looking at and feeling of his soft baby fat. I find myself smothering the nape of his neck with soft little kisses, just to watch him squirm. I delight in making loud kissey noises in his round tiny mouth. I catch myself running the palm of my hand across his precious round head to feel of his velvety hair. I giggle when I am trying to unclasp his tightly squeezed toes that are sweaty and curled into a ball. I savor the smell of Baby Magic as I lather and slather his delicious little body with it while giving him a bath. Does it get any sweeter than this? I think not my friends!!

I am not sure how I got here but I am glad I have. I have 5 kiddos ranging in age from 15 mos. to 14. Life is full! I love the words you used to describe your sweet baby. May the Lord bless you!

It is the best! Those pics are the sweetest! And, doesn't matter if it's baby #1, baby #3, etc... they ALL feel like your first!!!

That is as sweet as it gets. Well of course when they are cuddling with you fast asleep is precious too!

Marylandmommy: Thank you! I can't wait to see your little girl too.

Kim: I know we all have to give that up at some point don't we, and I am going to hang on to it as long as possible...lol

Cheryl: I didn't realize how much I missed it until I had another.

Kate: Oh there's nothing like a sleepy snuggly baby!

I know exactly what you mean! I feel the same way with John M. , who really isn't even a baby anymore. How sweet!

Trina, you always find the words to say what I feel! I love reading your blog!

And I couldn't agree more with Stephanie. I remember feeling this way with my first....as she was my first. And with my second...I thought he was the last and wanted to enjoy EVERY second. And now Sam, who most likely really IS my last, lol. I try to savor every one of those moments, touches, feels, and smells, sigh. Where does they time go? He's almost 6 months now. :-(
