It has taken me a while to get my living room the way I want it. It has actually been a much slower process than it normally is for me. We have been trying to build a look rather than just buying a ready made living room. Plus, for the longest time I loved the primitive country or even french country look (still do, but it isn't what I wanted in my living room anymore). No, in my old age I sort of wanted to go with a different style....lol I wanted something that looked a little more formal and eclectic. I wanted the room to look and feel like they were pieces that we had collected over the years, instead.
Anyway, I am not finished with the details. We are looking for nicer lamps, a coffee table, and an end table, and even some pieces that say "Den" or "Trina". I am one that believes that when you see it you will know. This is what we have so far. If the next house has a larger living room we will buy more seating, but for now the living room is rather small and it limits us. Nonetheless, I have really enjoyed pulling pieces in to the room to begin molding it. The couch was the beginning. It is a wine with a little bit of gold on the pillows, and then the rug, leather chair and the tapestry chair have been recent additions. I am starting to really get in to it. Although the ultimate goal, besides getting the right look for the room, is to get the right deals. I love getting amazing deals on things and this room is chug full of those!

I like it...looks very nice and cozy!!!
I love you living room. You have very good taste when it comes to decorating. Can't wait to have you help me.
I love it - the chairs are my favorite. I love a leather chair anyway, but the one with no arms has character. Lookin' good!
Beth: Thank you!
Cherrie: I love to decorate so hurry up!
Lori: The leather chair is Den's, and the tapestry chair is mine. He doesnt like it because it doesnt have arms, but its so soft to sit in.
I really love your style. Cherrie and I were both admiring your furniture just last Sunday. I can't wait for the day I feel like my house is all together...sigh
