Seattle Summer

We had a really nice time in Seattle this weekend. It started off slow since I-5 Northbound was closed down for like 4 hours, and we were in it, but regardless I was thrilled to be with Den no matter what we were doing, even killing time in a massive traffic jam.

One of the best eateries we went to was a crepe' shop. Oh my the crepe's were DIVINE!!
We also shared a little mocha in a cute little espresso cup. Sometimes it's just the little things that make something taste even better, and this cup did that for me.
Den had a savory crepe', I had a strawberry vanilla creme one and oh me oh my!!
At one of the little italian grocery stores in Pike Street was the gigantic container of my boys' favorite condiments, "Nutella"! This large heap of love was over $80!
One of the things that I love about the Pike Street Market is the great deals on flowers. I would love to have fresh flowers everyday on my table and this place would make it affordable!
This is just a classic photo of the sign, and down below is the best find all day....DEN! lol
We waltzed into a Chinese tea shop. We sat down and they served us all sorts of unique herbal teas. It was really educational and the art of serving and pouring was beautiful. We bought our own little tea pot and cups....and some healthy herbal teas.
Of course, it wouldn't be a trip to Seattle without hitting a Starbucks and this one had a little entertainment outside. What a fun day!
Yes, this hot pink shirt says Starbucks on it. We were standing in line at a Russian bakery waiting for a little cabbage and sauerkraut....mmmmmmmmm.
A couple walking by offered to take a picture of the two of us. A golden rare moment!

We decided to ride the ferry to Bainbridge Island. It seemed like a great way to finish our trip.
The second reason for the ferry was all the walking that we had done that day, and we just needed a good excuse to get off our feet.
