Laundry Woes, Take 52

Boaz enjoying his cupcake with his clothes ON......
Boaz being stripped to his diaper after prior cupcake was devoured......see my point?! hehehe

Just a wee example of "amazons" clothes drying....painstakingly....drip drop...tick tock....

We are headed to the coast in the morning; It will be our whole family and Jilleeanna (maybe, just maybe my mom, but not holding my breath.) Our first family trip with an actual fiance'. Crazy to think about really....(big smile).

So today is about catching up on my laundry. If there is anything that I detest it's laundry, and that goes for clean laundry that needs to be put away right alongside of the dirty bunch. I am not a respecter of clothes, anymore than I am of people. lol Even though two sons have left the nest I find that my laundry pile is relentless. Having toddlers adds twice as much to the burden. They are just messy little creatures. I find that Boaz is in a diaper often times in the middle of the day just because he has been stripped down to his diaper only after a hearty meal because more of the food landed on his clothing than in his mouth; hopeless really. It gives the illusion that the poor lad lacks clothes, however I can assure you that, based on my pile of pb&j stained clothes, he does NOT! lol

The other challenge within this family is the fact that mommy is tall, hence the dryer is not her best friend when it comes to her clothing. Yes, I am referring to myself in the third person....don't ask me why.... Anyway, the difficulty is making sure to rescue any and all clothes that may get shrunk if put in the dryer and therefore makes the washing/drying routine a little stressful at times. Plus, yes I know that this problem is now being made larger than it really is, I will add the fact that waiting for tall clothes to dry while hanging is pain staking. Everything must be planned in advance, otherwise all clothes will be soaking wet when she needs to wear them last minute. Ohhhh the woes of being an amazon!!!

I just got caught up on all of your posts! I had missed 3!!! I normally don't, so it was fun to catch up! Our laundry pile did not get any smaller when Sabriena got married, and probably wont until Megan, or Heidi or both are out of the house. Lol. They use laundry like CRAZY!
