I'm Not Going To Dread Change

Things are changing so quickly and so drastically. Boaz is signing the word hungry now, which is great to know when he is ready to eat. Plus, he loves the fact that he can sign this word and someone tries to meet his needs. He is also waving and saying (in a very small high voice), "HI". It is so sweet and it makes him incredibly happy to get hi responses back. He is growing up so fast that I am celebrating his growth, but trying to hang on to his babyhood at the same time.

Roman is starting to count and express his preschool self more and more too. He is also mimicking his older brothers and it is a real crack up. In fact, he let me know that Sis. Marisela's pool "Rocks" while we were at their house for another wonderful bbq.

Levi has began football practices as of last week. To see that unfold in our lives again feels very familiar, and it makes him very happy to be a part of a team again. He hurt his finger during a scrimmage, but he toughed it out and continued to go to practice with a very swollen and black and blue digit. He is a tough cookie!

River and Isaiah are staying very busy with their jobs. In fact, it seems we hardly see them. When we do see them it's only for short spurts of time at dinner, in the mornings, or brief windows of time on weekends. They are starting to do their own thing more and more. I am anxiously watching their lives unfold as they begin to grow their own branch of life. They are considering getting an apartment to share together. Even though Isaiah is only 17 he graduated last year and has already attended a year of college. I am not super excited about his venture, but on the otherhand River and he are very best friends and are very good responsible young men. They will make a very solid team as they take off on their own (Of course, Dad and Mom will be close enough by for any and all emergencies). I have mixed feelings about this all the time, so don't be surprised to read other posts where I am full of anxiety about it. However, none of it has taken root as of yet, so we shall see how much of it is talk and how much of it is real.

Den and I have decided that we are going to move. We have found a house that we are working on, however we aren't sure if it will all turn out. If that house doesn't work out then we will just find a smaller cheaper home to rent for the meantime until we find something we love and want to buy. Nevertheless, we are in the process of making a deal on a house and we will begin our packing. I HATE packing and so do my boys, but I have explained that a couple weeks worth of work is nothing compared to the end result. So we shall push through this yucky-up in the air-full of change- period and wait and pray to see what is on the other side.

Thank you so much for your encouraging words and offers of prayers.....I would so appreciate them!!!

I sure do hope your able to get in a home that you love and live in for the rest of your lives. I hope the move goes well for you all. I'm excited to read that Boaz signs to you. That is something Philip and I are really wanted to teach our baby. We will keep you and your family in our prayers <3

Oh how I hate moving!! And, I often balk at change, but change isn't always bad.
Hang in there!

We have our house up for sale so we may be moving soon also. We have only had 2 houses in our almost 7 years of being married so it kind of sounds fun to move. But I do wonder where we are going to move to! We haven't been looking for another house until we see if ours will sell or not.
