On The Other Side Of It

First off, let me thank everyone for the emails and phone calls. There are some things I don't put on my blog for the entire world to be a part of, believe it or not...lol, but the ones that were a comfort and a support to our family in the last couple months have been an incredible strength. To those of you who read my blog and wonder what in the world I am babbling about I just want to say don't feel left out, it was far better to read the pleasantries of my life. In fact, I was happy to think and post on good things.

Which leads me to trials. I felt something was on the horizon at the beginning of our arduous trail, but I had no idea that it would last so long and be such an uphill climb. Towards the end I was growing ever so weary and even shedded some tears pleading with the Lord to bring it to an end soon. God, and only God, knows our limitations, and often times takes us to our most vulnerable point only to rescue us like a knight in shining armor. I am ever so grateful for the brave and valiant rescue and that all is finally well. He truly is my hero!

So that leaves me trying to get back into a routine. There is much to do, much we have been behind on, in fact it is still challenging because you know how children are after they have been sick for awhile; a little whiney and clingy. So once we have trained our little spider monkey to believe that he can truly manage a little bit on his own, we will resume our wonderful busy life again. I can't wait! No really....I can't!

I don't know what your trial was like but I know how difficult a trial can be. Up until a couple years ago I had never experienced a hard trial. I have now and it lasted a looonnng time! I'm so thankful it's over and I can honestly say I wouldn't change it if I could because God brought so many good things from it and taught me alot. My faith was strengthend and my relationship with Him and my husband was made stronger. I praise God for the trials (but usually only half heartedly until they're over :-} So glad your doing better!
Blessings,
Marie

I don't know the specifics of your trial but I'm happy to hear that you seem to be coming up out of one with a renewed spirit. It makes me think of what my pastor always says, "There are three types of people in the world: Those heading into a trial. Those in the midst of a trial. Those coming out of a trial." And thankfully, God is there through it all.

No idea what your trial is/was but it sounds as if you are coming out of it. God will always give us trials and it is how we handle it that makes the difference. Glad you took His comfort in your time of need. HUGS!

What a blessing! I've been praying for you, as you know. I continue to pray for the assembly. I hope it doesn't start all over with Christian...
