"Popeye" The Wonder Pup

This is our new little puppy, "Popeye". He is a new breed that is called a Muggin; half pug and half mini doberman pincher (mostly pug it seems to me). He is the sweetest little baby dog and since he is tiny Roman is thoroughly enjoying him.

We are in the middle of potty training him. This is a bit exhausting, but he is catching on. I keep reminding myself that it won't take forever. I have questioned my sanity by purchasing a puppy right now, but if anyone knows Den then they know he melts like butter for dogs. Therefore, I couldn't resist taking on the additional workload for my beloved animal loving hubby. Den just lights up when he sees this little guy come bouncing in to the room to greet him. Now Boaz isn't quite as thrilled, you see they are both small and on four legs....so there is a bit of pack pecking order going on.....I wonder who will win? hehehe

What you do for love ones :) I have five gerbils, three cats and now he is talking about a turtle! Your puppy is so awesome. I wish we could have one too!

Lori: No Popeye doesn't snore, they say it's because he is a mini dobermen mix. He does make quite a mess drinking water with his flat little face though..lol

How cute! He looks like a bundle of fun! Nice choice for a name, Popeye! Does he enjoy spinach? Most likely - NOT!!! LOL. Enjoy the potty training.

Oh my goodness! I tried to housetrain a puppy and pottytrain a little boy at the same time once... was I insane? You bet! It was such a trial! We finally got rid of the dog... but kept the boy!

He is soooo CUTE! Reminds me of my lil baby Halo! ;) Good luck with the potty training. Best and fastest way is with a HUGE box of treats. lol

The reason he looks mostly Pug, is that pug mixes always carry the pug look. You can tell if a dog is mixed with pug or not. I tried to house train my dog, but after about 3 days my parents got tired of it, and told me that he just is NEVER aloud in the house. You can see the Min-Pin in him too, it looks like he definitely got the tall! Lol. Of course his tail isn't Min-Pin or Pug, it is simply a mix between the two. Sorry my comment is so long, I guess I just love dogs too much, and know almost too much about them, mostly the different breeds and what they look like, and how to do basic training with a dog.
