Back On Track

We did it! We got ourselves moved! It was quite a quick undertaking, but well worth it. We still have some things to finish up at our old house, but we are almost totally unpacked over here. I just can't stand living out of boxes, it's too stressful with this size of a family.

I love our new house. It is taking some getting used to. It's a very open floor plan which is nice, but it's a lodge style house with open lofts, balconies, and wood floors throughout, therefore the sound carries like crazy here. It is a large house square footage wise, however it is only a 3 bedroom home (well it is has a tower room that Levi has claimed for his very own). The land is breathtaking and the boys have thoroughly enjoyed wandering all over it. It has a creek that Isaiah has managed to catch some brook trout in, even Abram has caught one. However, they are rather small, nonetheless they feel like real fishermen now...lol

I have promised to take some pictures of our new dwelling and I will see how ambitious I am about it this weekend. I have lofty goals, but we shall see if I can turn good intentions into action.

Boaz is getting into more of a routine lately, at least at night. I have felt pretty tired and drained since his birth. Since his birth River has left home, we have moved, and all this with a newborn baby in my arms. I am hoping to have some time to just rest and enjoy life, and mostly snuggle with my new baby boy.

Thank you for all the sweet comments that you left for Isaiah. He was pretty excited to see all the responses. It did my heart good too.....*smiling from ear to ear*

So this is a quick post to just say, "Internet is up and running again! Wooohoooo!"

I am so glad you are starting to feel settled! It's always so hard to be in a new place when you haven't figured out where anything goes yet, or where you put something! Glad to see you online again, and hope you can find some time to relax.

I'm sure you will get adjusted to all the changes soon. It's such a transition when the oldest leaves home.

Boaz is adorable - you have handsome boys.

I'm glad that things are slowing down for you a little. I hope that they continue to get closer to nomal for you. I'm glad you found internet service. I can't imagine going back to dial-up either!
Matt has told me so much about your house, I can't wait to see it! It sounds like it has a lot of character; I'm sure I will love it!

It sounds beautiful. I am impressed you have so much done. I am usually so exhausted after a move it takes me a while to empty the boxes. I am glad you figured out an internet connection that was faster then dial up.
