Sweet Sixteen!

Today is Isaiah's 16th birthday! He said he felt so old, he has no idea! lol Den and I were going to act as if we didn't remember it was his bday, but I couldn't bare it and told him Happy Birthday. I'm weak that way....hehehe Anyway, we already gave him his gift which was a guitar. He has been learning to play since last summer and he has come a long ways. We have really enjoyed listening to him play and sing. He is also joining in on a Sweet Sixteen get together that our neighboring church is putting on for Brandon, Shay and him this Saturday. It's gonna be a teenage hoopla, and it will also be Levi's first teenage party since he turned 13 in February. Ohhhh so many new things in our lives, lately.

Here is his new guitar. It's an Ibanez acoustic guitar. It's pretty and it sounds beautiful.

Den surprised Isaiah by showing up to lunch at Red Robin today. I pretended to be taking Isaiah on some errands when we took this little detour, and so we were able to sneak in a little surprise luncheon on our Isaiah. He was thrilled! If any of you know Isaiah then you know how much he adores his Dad, so that was the biggest treat of all for him.

After we ate they brought out the birthday sundae, and of course they had to make the announcement that Isaiah was celebrating his "Sweet Sixteenth". He was embarassed, but he handled it like a real man! hehehe I believe the comment that he made describing the moment was, "That was intense!"
One of the gals tied the balloons around his ears while they clapped and sang their little diddy. I giggled and giggled while I snapped away with my camera. It was definitely a sweet memorable moment.

Happy Birthday Isaiah! You are so loved and appreciated, I hope you truly know just how much, honey ! *muah muah*

Amazing how fast the little guys grow up isn't it. Lovely pictures of the boys and Dennis. I hope Isiah has a great time at his party. Isiah looks so much like you Trina. You have such a beautiful family.

We are right behind you sister! Our oldest will be 18 in July and then the 2nd oldest will be 16 in October. Where does the time go?

That party wouldn't be the first teen party for Levi if they had come here for the masquerade party.

Happy birthday to your man!!

My son just turned 13 last Thursday....he says he doesn't feel older yet, he still feels 12! I told him to give it some time.....

What a great guitar, and a gift that keeps on giving!

You're doing great!

Happy Birthday to a sweet Son! We sure wish him all of God's blessings. It touched my heart to hear how much he loves his Dad. And the picture of Him and Boaz is precious. OK so is the one with his guitar!
Hope to come and see you all soon (God's mercy has continues to humble our hearts, Our Sis. Brittany has begun to take her first few steps with her walker this weekend)
