Another Move On The Horizon

Well....I think we may be crazy, if moving while having a newborn is crazy. Yep, it's official we ARE crazy then! We have found a house that we love in the country. It's on about 7 acres with room for animals, but most importantly it has a creek running through it. Lots and lots of mud, bugs, salamandors, snakes to be found, and we probably should throw in some snails, nails and puppy dog tails for good measure. The boys are so very excited to be heading out to the wilderness again. We have loved our present house and it has served its purpose well, but very very soon we shall bid it farewell.

The down side is that I am looking at my house, and the stuff inside of it in a whole new light. I am scrutinizing what we need to give to Goodwill again, throw away, or pack. We have saved some of our boxes from our move last year so that will be helpful, but I fear that, like bunnies, our stuff seems to mulitply, or maybe it's that WE, ourselves, keep multiplying with each house we move to. Ohhh boy I sure hope not! hehehe

I am happy for you. That sounds like a beautiful place to live and with boys a even better deal.

That sounds like so much fun for the boys! I know it will be hard to move with the newborn but you can do it. One benefit to breastfeeding is in the craziness of packing you wont have to stop to warm up the baby's food... Already done! It will also give you an excuse to sit for a minute but still be productive!

That is awesome, I actually prefer country living to city living also. However, I wold like to be closeto a city so it doesn't take a long time to get to a grocery store. I actually don't desire to live in Oklahoma country, but I lived in the country in Colorado, it was great. I'm so happy for your family!!! I know it is a lot of work, but it sounds to me like it will be worth it!

A new place in the country, what could be better. We love our 10 acres in Colorado. Lots of room for the kids to roam.

Wonderful! Kids need room I think, and boys need mud. And salamanders. And nails. And puppy dog tails. Good choice, hope the move goes smoothly, and you take care of yourself.

I'm so excited for you guys. I can tell we are going to have to come visit a lot and let our kids roam. I'd love to help you move if I can. Let me know if you need help. I'm sure you'll do fine moving with a baby, you've got a lot of help.

I love the House! It fits your growing family of boys so well with all the trees and creeks. In fact, I can't wait to visit again knowing that the setting will help me get my northwest fix when I am homesick for the land. I will just sit on your porch and let it all sink in. You are a busy woman Trina and I will pray you have the strength to get through this move and keep up with all the nursing Boaz requires. LoL Love ya.

That sounds wonderful!! I would love to live on a place with some land...a dream of mine. I would think that the boys would love it for sure - all that exploring to do!

Home is not a house. To me, home is my husband and my sweet and lovely children...I know you feel that way too....

Blessings to your family on you finding a house of dreams, and don't get too crazy with the move!

I am in the same boat as you are, though with only 3 boys... so looking forward to moving into a house with a little garden, but soooo not looking forward to packing and unpacking...:-(
I'll be thinking of you when I'll be moving :-) Good Luck!

It sounds like such a wonderful place to raise boys! I remember When Craig and Lori were living on a large tree farm and their boys were always outside running around playing trying to catch critters! My kids had so much fun every time we went to visit.

Why does everybody else get the good stuff? We have wanted a home in the country for... well, for ever since I can remember! Those days in "the red house" that we rented from you rank in our best memories! Our goal is to get a place in the country, but we make all the charts and the schedules, and the step-up goals, and we can't seem to keep up with them! Oh well. One of these days. Happy for your family, anyway.

I just watched the slideshow with the song, and I really liked it. Too bad you couldn't put your own pictures in there, eh?
