Where Have I Been? hehehe

Hi all! I thought I had better put up a quick post saying that we are well. Your comments and your emails are always so sweet and thoughtful. Thank you. It has been a while since I have posted. I have just been busy, tired, and at times overwhelmed with everything. So I thought I would take a day or two break that turned into a week. How does time do that? Like rabbits it mulitplies in a short amount of time. hehehe

We went to the Oregon Campout over Labor Day weekend. We had a really nice time. I felt good for most of the weekend, although Sunday was a doozy, and I mostly stayed in bed. Thankfully, we were given a little apartment above the kitchen that had a/c, full kitchen, bath, and 2 bedrooms. We shared it with Rusty and Mary. I felt quite spoiled. It honestly wasn't like camping at all.

The other side of it was that when we got home I was exhausted. I spent the next couple of days laying low, except for schoolwork. I am really thankful that I had that little break, and I am feeling better today.

We had a bunch of brethren come in this last weekend. We had a really nice meeting with them. The singing was so nice to hear. We barely had enough chairs, but besides kids sitting on the floor, everyone had a seat. We really have to find a better place to assemble.

We went to dinner at Izzy's afterwards. It was quite a crowd of us, so Den and I had reserved the banquet room. It turned out to be very relaxing and enjoyable. They were all so kind and fun to chat with. I look forward to getting to know them better. At the end of the meal, when everyone was getting ready to pay the ticket we discovered that someone had paid the entire bill. It was a substantial bill. I believe it was $460.00. It really moved me that some generous person did this for our little church group. May the Lord bless them for their kindness.

So I am back. I will try to be better about my blog. I am trying to find my rhythm right now with homeschooling too, though. So hang in there, with me!

Oh Trina... I'm praying you are feeling better soon. You shouldn't feel regret about taking some time off from blogging.

It was awesome seeing you at the camp meetings. I felt very blessed to sit in front of you at meeting on Saturday. I love to hear you and Dennis sing together. I have missed that so much.

Take care, Love you all!

It is good to have you back. I'm glad you took a break to rest. Sometimes it amazes me how exhausting it is to be pregnant. Hopefully this part will be over soon.

It sure is sweet that you got a break enough to enjoy the campout.

I spoke to Sis Dayna last night and she was telling me how much they enjoyed you guys. Cant wait for our turn to come visit!! She too told me about the check. How precious is that?

Glad you have had some good days and able to enjoy the blessing of being with one another.

I am so happy you posted. That is such a sweet thing for someone to do, by paying for the meal. Glad your getting your school done. The morning sickness should be over soon. So we will just keep praying for you.

I'm glad you had the chance to get away for some fun. Trying to find the right rhythm is not always easy along with the fact of the little one on the way.

Glad you're still OK...I was hoping it was just school that was keeping you away and not anything wrong. I've been trying to get into school rhythm too. Good to hear from you!

So glad we got a chance to come and see all your sweet brethren! We truly felt blessed that day. It was sweet to see how your older boys took care of your younger ones so that you could eat! Our son Branden has a free weekend in mid-Oct. So were planning on coming back since he missed meeting you all :)Hope you see you again soon!
